Light and Shade of Rock and Soul
Talented vocals /guitarist duo with great harmonies - specialising in a variety of Americana and Rock influenced covers - classic rock, country rock, yacht rock, blues rock, soft rock, folk rock and pop rock with a bit of soul thrown in for good measure. They ease you gently into the evening with a few acoustic interpretations of songs with some beats and then build up to a full lively and rockier sound with additional backing tracks... Be prepared to sing and dance the night away!
Great party band fronted by two lovely people who know their stuff, Bats for Butterflies helped turn my recent birthday party into a truly memorable event... Two great, very different sets were perfectly pitched – early acoustic set then a later second set that had the dance floor rocking!...Amazing

Brilliant stuff!... A perfect mix of genres from all eras, including old favourites, but also some unusual and interesting choices: starting gently with acoustic and lighting the touch paper in the second half!.. Sam’s voice is exquisite and so adaptable, it’s a joy to hear.
Simon Gould, St Albans
Love this duo! I’ve seen both Sam & Dave play in their various other bands, ranging from pub 3 piece to 6/8 piece theatre show bands but this is by far my favourite format. The same great talent and close working partnership stripped back for more intimate venues. Highly recommend!
